Samuel Fischer Guest Professor

Adam Thirlwell

Adam Thirlwell, according to the Times Magzine the „Wunderkind“ of British literature, was born in 1978 and debuted in 2003 with his novel Politics, which has been translated into 18 languages​​.
In the same year he was named one of the Granta's ,Best Young British Novelists‘. His novel The Escape was published by S. Fischer in 2010. On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Samuel Fischer Guest Professorship, Thirwell read at the Berliner Ensemble from his latest novel Miss Herbert in November 2013.
